Walking the Dogs @ Nighttime

The day we flew back from Portland Lilly only slept 30mins. ...She made it until our nightly walk with the dogs. Although it was chilly, she slept snuggly and soundly.

Riverside Winter Hike

Lilly, Esme (the family dog) and I had a fun adventure by the river despite the 43 degree winter chill in the air. Lilly stayed comfy and cozy bundled up in her winter garb and strapped into her Deuter Kid Comfort III.

Father-Son & Daddy-Daughter Hike

We're here at Grandma & Grandpa's house for the New Year (2012-2013). Grandpa and Daddy went on a 'hike' on the bike trail near the house. The weather in Portland was blue skies at a chilly 43 degrees.
Lilly enjoyed the scenic stroll as much as Grandpa and me. She lost her mittens twice but luckily they were recovered both times.
I LOVE how Lilly appreciates the subtile beauties in nature--a bird perched in a tree or a flowing stream.
I learn from Lilly everyday. On this day she reminded me to take time
for the little things in life--even something as small as, well, a child!
